Hi! I'm so happy you are visiting my webpage! My name is Alishia, and I've been an Occupational Therapist for almost 20 years. I received my BS in OT from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2001, and later a MSHA degree from Central Michigan University in 2007. I have worked in a variety of settings as a staff OT and as a rehab manager. I found my niche in home health and developed a passion for making people as safe and independent as possible in their home environments. I am a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) through NAHB, and I have my Executive Certification in Home Modifications (ECHM) from USC's School of Gerontology. I have also recently obtained licensure in the state of TN as a small residential contractor. Because of my passion, I am an established mobile outpatient therapy practice specializing in home modifications.
As an occupational therapist, I am skilled in taking a holistic approach to assess and treat the physical, mental, developmental and emotional ailments that impact a client's ability to perform everyday tasks.
